So, I finally did the thing I have been speaking about for ages, I have bought myself a gaming computer. Just a starting point, I might add, but it is still something. After months and months of searching I finally found one; after finding it and sending it to my brother for his opinion and sending it again later. I bit the bullet and did it. Bought and paid for. It arrived and I was excited like a kid at Christmas!

This is what I bought ADMI GTX 1050 #GameReady GAMING PC PACKAGE:

  • AMD Athlon II X4 860K 3.7 GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
  • 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM
  • 1TB Hard Drive
  • 500W PSU Bronze Rated
  • HD Audio
  • USB 3.0
  • HDMI
  • 4K Ultra HD Support
  • Goblin LED Gaming Case
  • DVDRW 24x
  • With Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Set
  • 21.5 Inch Monitor

I am so happy with my purchase. It is so much faster than I thought possible, I am coming from using a laptop lately that was not fast at all. I had bought a few games on my steam account (some of them many years ago) that I couldn’t play on any of my computers because they were just not good enough or handle the graphics even if I put it on the lowest setting.

The first game that I installed was The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and played with the settings until I got it exactly how I wanted it (but also not too high that my computer couldn’t handle it)… I have no idea how to tell what settings your computer can handle so that didn’t exactly help my cause. I am still unsure (gotta love a little bit of Google to help your day) this article may be able to help you if you too are uncertain.

Are there any games that you can recommend for PC that are graphically amazing?
